CONCERNING A PUBLIC BAND MEMBERS MEETING
To All Community Members & Residents of the Cree Nation of Waskaganish
The Council of the Cree Nation of Waskaganish will hold a Public Band Members’ Meeting to present the following items:
- Zoning Law - Determines what land uses are allowed and where.
- Subdivision Law – Regulates the creation and modification of lots.
- Construction Law – Establishes building and safety standards.
- Permits & Certificates Law – Creates the approval process for development projects.
- Demolition Law – Controls demolition and redevelopment of properties.
- Nuisance Law – Protects community health, safety, cleanliness, and quality of life.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Kanio Kashee Lodge Conference Room. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
